Who we are
This site is run by MadeleinTuin Garden Designs and Landscaping Services (registration 2025/194661/07, VAT 914794205), a garden design and landscaping practice in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa. The person you can write to is Madelein Jordt. Email madelein@madeleintuin.co.za or WhatsApp 060 973 8278.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send. A garden-visit request may include your name, email, phone, suburb and a short description of the garden. A newsletter signup uses your name and email. We do not ask for ID numbers, payment cards or a home street address on this site.
How we use it
Visit briefs are used to reply and to plan a site visit in Centurion and surrounds. Newsletter addresses are used only for the monthly garden notes you asked for. You can leave that list on the unsubscribe page. We do not sell, rent or swap your details, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
What stays in your browser
Language choice, newsletter drafts and studio-admin settings can be stored in your own browser. That copy lives on your device until you clear it. Maps on the Nurseries and Plants pages load tiles from OpenStreetMap. If you type an address to zoom the nursery map, that lookup is sent to Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) so the map can move. We do not use map lookups to build a profile of you.
Photographs
Garden photographs on this site are from MadeleinTuin work and study. We do not publish a client’s full name with a garden photo unless they have agreed. If you see a picture of your garden that you would rather take down, write to us and we will remove it.
Your choices
You may ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the email or WhatsApp number above. We keep enquiry notes only as long as needed to finish the work or the conversation, unless the law requires a longer hold.
